Community Classes "SHARING my PURPOSE"
The teachers of Community Yoga want yoga to be accessible to all. We create this space at least once a month for a class based on sacred act of well being. We want to change the life of others and introduce yoga to many. If you see a class listed as "donation based" in the title, it means you are welcomed to attend the with/without any donation you'd like to make. Class passes are not accepted.

BASIC BEGINNER'S CLASS
This a great way for beginners to establish a practice. No previous knowledge of the Hatha/Ashtanga system is required to begin the basic poses on strength building. It is designed for students who are able to commit to attending at least two days a week over a long period of time. This traditional class is tailored to the varying levels of the students present. It's simple, basics of yoga philosophy, breath, and movement. Led through fundamental postures of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga, also known as Yoga Chikitsa, of Yoga Therapies. ALL STUDENTS BEGIN WITH BASIC STRENGTH BUILDING POSES.

WEEKLY NUTRITIONAL COACHING
Nutritional counseling is an ongoing process in which a knowledgable instructor, works with an individual to assess his or usual dietary intake and identify areas where change is needed. Today's major health care problems are increasingly the result of acute and chronic conditions related to poor nutrition and/or overconsumption. Individualized nutritional coaching can provide the patient important insight into food-related illnesses and education regarding how various nutrients (protein, carbohydrate, fat, alcohol) affect illnesses or obesity. Alternatively, coaching can assist in prevention of nutrition-related conditions such as the need for weight management. Nutritional counseling can be tailored to meet the treatment needs of all my clients. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!

TEESHA TALK TUESDAY
These talk sessions are intended to motivate and inspire my clients. I realized during my personal journey in life, that we sometimes need an extra push over the hill. That extra push could be lead by conversations and /or testimonies from someone else, which can save lives. Each One/Teach One. It's a blessing to live vicariously through the right, grounded person. Learn meditating techniques for mental comfort.

Private sessions are tailored for one or two individuals. We want to focus on their specific needs.

* TEEN YOGA THERAPY / ADULT YOGA THERAPY *
Yoga Therapy is the adaptation of yoga practices for people with mental/health challenges. Yoga therapists prescribe specific regimens of postures, mindfulness worksheets, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to suit individual needs.
Therapeutic yoga blends restorative yoga, gentle yoga, breath work, hands-on healing, and guided meditation techniques combined in such a way that it is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress.
$60 per hour (teens) / $120 per hour (adults)
* Indicates one on one session with options of 60 or 90 minutes. Pricing subject to change.
